March 2021 Newsletter
Thank you all for your amazing support this term. It really has been a whole community effort that has ensured that we have managed to keep our lovely nursery open every single day during this term through some of the darkest days of this pandemic. Our children have been able to continue to socialise with each other here in nursery when much of the rest of the country has been in lock down, what an amazing achievement everyone ! The situation now looks much better than it did a few months ago, although we all know we must not be in any way complacent. We are beginning to think about what additional activities we might be able to provide in the summer term, but we are not getting excited just yet.
In other good news, Sharon is continuing to make a slow recovery and we are very hopeful that she will be returning to nursery to do some part time hours on light duties after the Easter break.
We realise that the chickens are very interesting for the children to look at but please do not feed them anything. They are well fed and do not need any additional supplies.
With sunny days hopefully approaching please remember to send your child in with a hat, and apply suncream before they arrive in nursery if the weather looks sunny. Please ensure hats are named, as well as all other items of clothing that come into nursery.
Please could all children who are moving to school this year bring a P.E. kit in a named bag into nursery. We will be practising getting changed for PE during the summer term as part of our ongoing preparation for the children moving onto school. For more information about how you can help support your child to be ready for school please see the Information section, Useful Documents tab on our website.
We wish you all a Happy Easter with the chance at last to spend time with family and friends.
With kind regards,
The All Saints Team
