Our main focus will be the part of our curriculum that covers Understanding the World, in particular showing care and concern for living things and the environment. We will also be thinking about how our behaviour can have an impact on the world around us.

At home maybe you could talk about the wildlife that you see in your garden or out of your windows. We enjoy watching the birds and squirrels visit our feeder at nursery and the children will soon be making a bird feeder to bring home. We hope you get some birds visit the feeders when they come home. Feeding the birds in winter in so important when there is very little else for them to eat, and don’t forget to put some water out for them too.
