Dear parents,
Curriculum Plans
Please see attached our plans for the next two weeks.
As we are in firework season we will be making pictures and talking about the experience of bonfires and fireworks. All children react very differently to the sights and sounds of fireworks, some are excited but some are quite scared. However children respond to this experience we will talk about what they saw and heard and how it made them feel.
We will also be exploring lots of different natural objects during this season, crunchy leaves, shiny conkers, spiky sweet chestnut cases.
Road Safety
You are probably all aware that a nursery parent was involved in a serious accident whilst picking up their child from nursery. Fortunately their injuries were not as serious as they might have been but it is a stark reminder to be very careful dropping off and collecting your children from nursery.
We have been working with Branksome Park Residents Association for a number of years to address the safety on this section of Western Road.
We have had a further visit from a BCP Road Safety Officer to look at what might be done to make this section of road safer for all users of the hall and Church buildings.I am not expecting this to be a quick process but please do email the Road Safety Department at BCP with any concerns you might have.
