PSED – Follow setting’s Golden Rules, understanding why they are important (SL-2024) : Be increasingly able to talk about & manage their emotions (SL-2025)
Dear parents,
Please see attached our planning for the next two weeks.
Curriculum Plans
Our curriculum focus is Personal, Social and Emotional Development(PSED) with a particular focus on our Golden Rules.
We have been watching our snowdrops grow and the flowers have gradually unfurled .The children have enjoyed looking very closely inside the flowers and next week we are going to try to carefully paint pictures of the plants. It is so important that our children can slow down and take delight from the simple things that we see around us everyday. In fact children are often very good at this when we give them the time and space to do it.
School Readiness Evening – Wednesday 28th February, 7 to 8pm
You are invited to a School Readiness information evening that is being organised by Lilliput Infant School, Courthill Infant School, Bournemouth Collegiate School and several local nurseries. This is a very useful evening that will help you ensure that your child is well prepared to start school. The reception teachers will give a short presentation on School Readiness and then then there will be a wide selection of practical ideas presented by schools and nurseries which
will be set up in stations around the reception class areas. Please do come along if you possibly can.
