Dear parents,
Please find attached our planning for the next 2 weeks. Our caterpillars are growing rapidly and we expect they will turn into chrysalis any day now. We are looking generally at growth and change as we observe the changes that happen in the lifecycle of a butterfly. We are also noticing and identifying patterns in the environment around ……stripes on clothes , spots on ladybirds, patterns in brickwork. Maybe you could try and spot some patterns at home and make some of your own with everyday items.
Please can we remind you to encourage all children who are moving on to school this year to be as independent as possible with managing their own personal hygiene in the toilet. There will be much less support at school and children need to feel confident they can manage in the bathroom on their own.
Suncream and sun hats
Please remember to apply suncream before children come into nursery and to bring sun hat everyday.
