Curriculum Plans

Please see  our plans for the next two weeks. Our current focus is on Autumn and Harvest. There are so many changes happening in the world around us at the moment, take time to together with your child to enjoy the beauty of the autumn season.

Our maths focus is talking about and exploring 2D and 3D shapes. This can be done so easily with everyday objects, talk about the straight sides of a box and count how many faces and edges has box has and contrast that with a ball that has no straight sides or edges. Use your imagination, shapes are everywhere – just take a moment to point them out to your child.

Side gate

Please can I remind everyone to shut the side gate as you arrive or leave nursery. This is a very important safety barrier for all of your children and their siblings. Despite many campaigns to introduce traffic calming measures along this stretch of Western Road it remains a very significant safety hazard to us all. Please be vigilant and keep the gate shut  AT ALL TIMES.
